A bespoke closed-loop installation delivering high-efficiency heating and hot water to a premium residential development

RHI Energies has recently completed the detailed design for a specialist ground source heat pump system serving a collection of seven luxury apartments in Central London, with a project value of £480,000.
To meet the development’s high-end heating and hot water requirements, RHI designed a closed-loop borehole system utilising advanced drilling techniques and deep-energy extraction.
Key project features include:
Closed-loop boreholes drilled to 250 metres
A centralised plant room providing heating and hot water to all apartments
Precision modelling using industry-leading GLD (Ground Loop Design) software
A system engineered to maximise efficiency, stability, and long-term running cost savings
This project highlights RHI’s long-established expertise in delivering bespoke low-carbon heating solutions for complex and space-limited urban environments, particularly in premium residential settings where performance, reliability, and acoustic considerations must be carefully balanced.
By designing a deep borehole system capable of delivering consistent energy all year round, RHI has ensured the development benefits from substantial carbon reductions and a long-term, sustainable heating solution.
