RHI Energies is proud to showcase one of its most technically advanced and high-performing installations to date, a major ground source heat pump system for a large 35-bed estate in Epsom, valued at £1.8 million.

This flagship project required a highly engineered design to meet the significant heating and cooling demands of the property. The system includes:

  • 125 boreholes drilled to 200 metres

  • A total heating and cooling capacity of 1,000 kW

  • A system efficiency of 7.5 COP (Coefficient of Performance) far above typical ground source performance levels of 4.5

This means for every 1 kW of electricity used, the system delivers:

  • 7.5 kW of cooling, and

  • 4.5 kW of heating

Such exceptional efficiency highlights the power of robust ground loop design, precision engineering, and deep technical expertise, all core strengths of RHI Energies.

Projects of this scale demonstrate how ground source systems can deliver unmatched operational performance, year-round stability, and long-term energy savings for large residential properties.

This installation represents one of RHI’s most significant residential achievements and reinforces the company’s position as a leading specialist in large-scale, low-carbon heating and cooling solutions.
